  • Pay it back over 4 to 12 months
  • 3.0% per month, with an APR of 42.6%

Worried about your credit? Even if we can’t offer a loan right away, you can still open an account and receive coaching to improve your finances and work towards eligibility. We’re all about helping you get back on track.

Helpful Information

  • Eligibility criteria:

    • You must be 18 or older to apply for a loan.
    • You are more likely to be accepted if you have a regular source of income and some money left over after covering your monthly loan repayment. Additionally, staying current on your existing credit commitments and managing a reasonable level of debt enhance your chances. 

  • Likely reasons for loan denial:

    • If you’ve had defaults or a County Court Judgement (CCJ) in the last year, your application may be denied.
    • If you are undergoing bankruptcy, an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA), or a Debt Relief Order (DRO), or if you already have a loan with a credit union, we may not be able to offer you a loan. 

  • Financial advice:

    • If you’re currently not up to date with household bills or under any debt management plan, it’s unlikely we can provide a loan. But you can seek free debt advice from organisations like StepChange, Debt Advice Foundation or your local Citizens Advice.
